Harland Hendrickson, Ph.D.
Portfolio Manager

Harland received his Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the University of California at Davis in 1968.  After entering the investment business on a full-time basis in 1987, he completed his Charted Financial Planner designation and the Canadian Securities Course, becoming a stock broker in 1991.  In June of 1992, he started his own mutual fund dealership, Hendrickson Financial Inc.  HFI became licensed as a portfolio management company in 1998 and Harland received his Portfolio Manager designation in 2001. Due to new regulatory requirements, HFI relinquished its mutual fund dealership status in 2002, allowing Harland to focus on discretionary portfolio management.  In April of 2005, HFI individual client accounts were transferred into the newly established HFI Growth Fund and HFI Income Fund.

Harland began publishing his research results in 1990, and currently publishes the 4-page Market Trend Follower™ each month as well as an emailed ETF commentary and performance ranking each Wednesday and a general market commentary on weekends.
